Shipments

We offer domestic US shipping as a service for those who cannot attend any of the reptile expos we frequent or just live too far away for a local pickup. Shipping can be discussed when you’re ready to place an order or if you have any additional questions that are not addressed below. Please review Our Guarantee page for information on what is required after your shipment arrives.

  1. In order for us to offer shipping, we have to take into consideration transit, origination, and destination Hub temperatures. To streamline this process we typically require multiple shipping/arrival dates that the customer can make it to their destination Hub. This allows us to make every effort to pick a shipping date that is best for your pet’s transit.

  2. We are currently using Reptiles2You in conjunction with FedEx Priority Overnight shipping. Shipping costs vary depending on your location and can range anywhere from $75 - $95 on average (may vary higher or lower).

  3. Order payment will be handled through Square invoices (shipping fee will be billed with the total order invoice).

  4. We will do our best to ship in a timely fashion but reserve the right to hold shipments until the weather is optimal for the species within the shipment. In the instance that inclement weather does not or will not clear in a timely manner, a refund can be issued (less PayPal’s transaction fee). This will also be the case if FedEx begins to experience extreme delivery delays. A new transaction can be started once the shipping lines clear.

  5. Shipments will be packaged using cardboard boxes lined with 3/4” Styrofoam. Filler material will be used to isolate your pet’s shipping container from incidental bumps along their route. We will also use temperature control materials to minimize severe temperature swings while your pet is on its way such as cold packs, heat packs, and/or Phase 22.

  6. Most temperature control materials have limitations and we will not issue shipments if the transit/Hub temperatures are projected to fall below 50ºF or above 85ºF.
